Newsletter - February 2008

So many things are happening in this industry, that it is sometimes hard to keep up to date with all of the changes. Below, please see just a few of the new additions and product promotions available.

New Product Announcement!

Blue Sea Systems Terminal Fuse Block

Don't let it's small size fool you. This little item might just might revolutionize how battery based systems are protected. This little fuse block can bolt directly between your positive battery cable and the battery post - right at the battery, thus eliminating the need to install a fuse 12" upstream of the battery. The available fuses come in a wide range of ampacities - from 30 to 300 amps and are all ignition protected (which means that they can share space in your battery compartment).

Xantrex Technologies XW Promotion Announcement!

For every Xantrex XW hybrid inverter/charger purchased, receive your choice of an XW system control panel (SCP), or an XW auto-generator start module FREE! This offer is valid on any orders received up to March 31st, 2008.

In order to properly process this promotion, we ask that you do not purchase the SCP or the AGS on-line at the time of your XW inverter purchase. We will contact you for your preferred promotional item and add that free of charge to your order, or you can simply add your preference in the "additional comments" section of your order. Our warehouse currently has the XW6048 hybrid inverter/charger and all the associated components in stock. The XW4024 and XW4048 are due to arrive this month. Pre-orders are being accepted to ensure that our customers get the first units when they arrive.

Our forecast for 2008: Continued strength in the Canadian dollar will continue to benefit our clients by keeping prices stable. Solar PV supply is improving and will be stable overall for this year. Distributed generators will become high profile this summer as utility resources get overtaxed. Local green initiatives will become more common and will help drive the message of energy independance home.

More next month!
